Este año NJPW ha cambiado el formato de The New Beginning y por tanto su card
NJPW ha confirmado una card repleta para The New Beginning. Debido al cambio decidido en las últimas fechas, este tour incluirá shows en Japón y en Estados Unidos además de un par de shows Road To donde lucharán jóvenes como Gabriel Kidd. Pero los shows importantes incluirán un combate por el NEVER Opewneight Championship en la noche 1 en Sapporo. En Atlanta, FinJuice defenderá los IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championship contra GOD. En la noche 2 de Sapporo defenderá su título Zack Sabre y en Osaka defenderán Hiromu Takahashi, Jon Moxley y Tetsuya Naito en tres combatazos.
